![]() ![]() As in, a lot of people feel underwhelmed by the amount of content it offers. It may takes thousands of hours for you to finally explore all of the content the dlc has to offer because of rng with quests.īut it's "just that". It adds a lot of quests, events and of course the empire with the psycast and meditation system. Well, all dlc for rimworld are worth it since you'll mostly play hundreds of hours of the game if you like it enough. Races featured in this comic: Revia, Oni of the Rim, Dragonian, Kurin, Moonjelly, Ratkin, ChJees's AndroidsĮDIT: Damn, I forgot to put in little buddy. See, I do have dudes in my colony! Backstory: he regularly picks fights with Lancer the Kurin for some reason. I guess the Android mediation types overwrites the Revia mediation types.īy the way, the Luxy the Moonjelly is male. The Android Revia, Jaqi, doesn't have the Natural mediation type. Not only are my bloodthirsty Revia bloodthirsty, they're also tree huggers. What I find surprising is that the Revia race have the Natural meditation type, alongside with Artistic and Morbid (this one makes more sense). It won't work on asexual colonists at all. Word of Love only works on a pair of pawns that have compatible sexualities (♂gay+♂gay, ♂straight+♀straight, ♂bisexual+♀straight, etc.) otherwise you cannot cast it. I got the Rational Romance mod so I have a higher set ratio of bisexual and gay pawns. This is the scene in Django that inspired me to make headbags. The Word of Love psycast is from the Royalty DLC. It's a very fair point you're raising, but you could also say that slavery shouldn't be in RimWorld because someone can have some wicked roleplay with it. An author of the mod can't be responsible for what people do with it. It's partly the reason why there are real-life religions in Ideology I believe. Truth be told, it's a single player game, and if someone is insensitive and stupid enough to roleplay as KKK, they will find a way with or without a headbag. ![]() I am worried that drawing connections to KKK with this mask is the same as drawing connections to talibans from a headwrap in Ideology DLC. It's actually meant to be a bag on the head that you can make out of human leather for your cannibal priests. It has been specifically chosen NOT to look like the KKK one. Stay tuned! And don't forget to ask AMA questions in the 1000 patrons post! Comments That's it for this devblog, next up we will cover Splits and Schisms! We are also adding patches for a large amount of Vanilla Apparel Expanded, so that your leader might require a fur pelt, whilst your medical expert - medical scrubs. So yes, as you can see, some of them are inspired with real life religions that are not quite yet covered by Ideology, while others I found to be fun and fitting, for example a Horse mask for your High-life priests. Would you like to take a look at what apparel I came up with? I'm sure you would! I thought this is an excellent opportunity to add some new headgear to breathe at least a little bit of new life into the role generator. Sure, headwraps, veils etc make each role and ideology feel somewhat unique, but after a while you start noticing repetitions and patterns. ![]() When Ideology first released, I was a little bummed out how little headgear customization there is for roles. Hello everyone and welcome to another mod development diary, this time focused on the Hats and Rags module of Vanilla Ideology Expanded.
